My research focuses on STEM pedagogy, with particular attention to how a sense of belonging with academic departments, both in graduate programs and laboratory environments, shapes graduate students' academic success. I aim to understand the structural, interpersonal, and cultural factors that influence students' experiences and identify practices that foster more inclusive and supportive learning communities.
