Interests – Research Interests: Investigating fungal stress responses, tolerance, and adaptation to high metal concentrations. For my dissertation, I will be using fungi in the genus Suillus, known to form mutualistic symbioses with pine trees, with a focus on species that are found in metal polluted soils in the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
