Insects in the Anthropocene: Case Studies of Changing Insect Abundance from Colorado
Insect populations worldwide are experiencing significant declines, raising concerns about ecosystem health and biodiversity. The Mooney lab at UCCS uses field research to better understand these patterns. This talk will overview insights from different study systems in Colorado, each showing how shifts in plant phenology or abundance can mediate changes in insect abundance.
