UNIV Educators teach our UNIV College Success courses in our First-Year Experience (FYE) program. These courses are a one-credit hour tuition-free course for our first-year students and go over various college success skills each week, from study strategies, time management, leadership, and more! Each course meets once a week for an hour and fifteen minutes during the academic semesters and are open to all incoming first-time, first-year students.
Our UNIV Educators get paid $1,000 for teaching a course and will receive training and all pre-built course curriculum from our office. Each course also receives a Peer Advocate Leader (PAL), which is one of our paid student staff members who go through an international mentor certification process and work with our Educators to connect with students, put on fun events for their class, meet one-on-one with students, and more!
