Applications for the Retirement Incentive Program opened on Nov. 1, and priority consideration will be given to those who apply by Nov. 30. There are two upcoming information sessions where you can learn more about this limited-time program on Tuesday, Nov. 14 (10 – 11 a.m., Lawrence Street Center Terrace Room and Zoom) and Thursday, Nov. 16 (2 – 3 p.m., Business School Classroom 2007 and Zoom). More information will be available on this website later this week.
In preparation for those sessions, we wanted to share two clarifications with our community:
- For employees in PERA: We have updated our information for employees in PERA because, in some circumstances, employees as young as 50 may qualify for early or regular retirement benefits. We will reach out to you individually, if you qualify.
For employees in ORP/401a (non-PERA): We have updated our information for employees in the University’s ORP/401a plan (non-PERA) to clarify that for individuals where the sum of their age and years of service at the University of Colorado is between 70 and 75, they would be eligible to receive a prorated portion of the University’s contribution towards health benefits
