Bringing Back the Lynx: A Colorado Success Story

Published: March 23, 2023

Dear Colleagues:

I wanted to mention an important upcoming event, organized and moderated by GES Professor Emeritus Rudi Hartman. One Tuesday, March 28, Rudi has organized a panel discussion entitled: The Future of the Lynx in Colorado: What are current challenges to the species and its habitat? The panel will include a scientist from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, an Ecologist for the National Forest of Glenwood Springs, and a Mountain Sports Ranger from the White River National Forest.

Dr. Hartmann has put a lot of effort in organizing this event and I believe there many students or faculty in your departments with interest in this topic; I would be grateful if you could share this in your departments. The full details are provided in the attached flyer.

With best regards!
