Congratulations to Laurel Sindewald (Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Diana Tomback's lab) and Ryan Jones (Ph.D. candidate in Dr. Paula Cushing's lab) for each receiving a $250 Dissemination/Travel Grant.  The Integrative Biology Awards, Scholarships, and Outreach (ASO) Committee selected Laurel and Ryan for the grants to help fund conference attendance and dissemination of their research to a broader audience.  Upon completion of their meetings, Laurel and Rayan will work with their graduate advisor to write a brief paragraph describing their presentations to be included in the Department's weekly E-Nouncements newsletter and CLAS Dean's Notes, they are also encouraged to present their research to other local venues if the opportunity presents itself.
