Students in Dr. Annika Mosier's Advanced Microbiology class recently published an article "How Can We Use DNA to “See” Inside Microbes?", in Frontiers for Young Minds.  Gylis Booz Sosa, Ashley Weller, and Catalina Lozano studied microbial genomics throughout the semester and then communicated the complex topic to young audiences. Justin Kesler joined the team by contributing valuable edits and scientific illustrations. The publication process included review by scientists and by a young reader.
