To find a faculty member to conduct research with, either contact Research Faculty directly and ask for research opportunities in their group or consult the Job Postings. You can select faculty members from the departmental website or from your classes. Make sure you contact multiple professors and/or apply for several positions as research opportunities are not always available and are competitive. Please NOTE: Senior Instructors do not have labs and do not take students for Independent Study or Directed Research. Contact Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, or Professors instead (you can find the faculty list here).
