Microbial responses to climate change: from tiny genes to big ecosystems
Global climate change if affecting all organisms on Earth, microbes are not the exception. In my presentation I will talk about my research in boreal forests in AK and temperature forests in the northeast of the USA. Here, I investigated how microbes are responding to experimental environmental stressors, such as warming and chronic nitrogen fertilization, and what are the large-scale consequences of these responses to our ecosystems
