Greg White photo From Timberley Roan and Trishia Vasquez: It is with great sadness that we share with you news of Greg White’s passing. Greg passed away on Tuesday, September 29th, due to complications from a long-standing illness.

Greg will be dearly missed. As a project specialist, he was instrumental to the successes of both the Environmental Stewardship of Indigenous Lands and Health Professions Programs at CU Denver. He worked with students, staff, faculty, community members, and external partners with ease; he didn’t care who you were or where you came from, he treated you with respect. He brought humor and an amazing sense of connectedness with everyone he met. And he could talk about a seemingly endless number of topics, from his beloved rugby to brewing beer to the best lactose-free coffee creamers.  He loved his work and was perhaps the staunchest advocate for both programs. He had a clear commitment to learning new things and experiencing life.

It is difficult to think of continuing on without him. Greg always brought joy and kindness to everything he did. He was a tireless advocate and a patient mentor for our students. He was an amazing colleague and friend.
