Incoming Assistant Professor of Integrative Biology Sara Branco has been awarded one of the Mycological Society of America’s most prestigious honors, the 2020 C.J. Alexopoulous Prize. The MSA’s Alexopoulous Prize is given annually to the most outstanding mycologist early in their career. The nominees are evaluated primarily on the basis of the quality, originality, and quantity of their published work.
