Place, date, time: Blake Street Tavern on Wednesday 11 March 2020 at 6:30 p
Our speaker: Mike Nelson, Fellow of the American Meteorological Society, Channel 7 weatherman

The Topic: Colorado's Crazy Climate: the Whats, Whys and Hows!

The TV meteorologist is as close as most Americans get to a scientist, and we are invited into our viewers’ living rooms. This gives us a special opportunity and a responsibility to educate our viewers with the facts about global warming.

From tornadoes to blizzards, Colorado’s weather is fast changing and stormy – sometimes all in the same day! I will talk about why our weather can be so crazy and how our Colorado climate is changing in a warming world.

VISIT OUR NEW WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME. The talk starts at 6:30. Come before 6 PM to leave yourself time to get something to eat. We end around 8 PM.

Blake St. Tavern is at 2301 Blake St., close to Coors Field. Parking in a lot adjacent, or at meters on the street.
