Dr. Kelsey Funkhouser is a postdoctoral researcher in the College of Liberal Arts and Science Dean’s Office and in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. Dr. Funkhouser earned her PhD in Astrophysics at Michigan State University in July, 2019. Dr. Funkhouser’s background is in physics, astronomy, and education research within those disciplines. At the University of Colorado Denver she is a researcher in the Office of Inclusive Excellence in STEM working on projects supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Inclusive Excellence grant.
