In my chemistry classes, I encouraged students to make short YouTube videos to explain scientific concepts or knowledge to general public. The audience is assumed to be at the level of an undergraduate freshman or sophomore, who is taking general chemistry but not necessarily majored in chemistry. Here are a few of these videos – I had to leave out many to avoid too long a list. While the narratives of science by the students may not always be very accurate, the videos are fun to watch and can be inspiring, too. Hope that you enjoy them!
