Public, Private, Permitted: Who Gets to Go?

The perfect space to relieve a bursting body

Tears flow

Urine trickles

Excretions empty

My whiteness gains me access in stores, coffee shops and restaurants

Before purchase

Without purchase

With privilege

My temporarily abled body moves easily between stalls

Before aging

Or accidents

For now

My cis-gendered appearance fits neatly into the binary

Choosing left

Or right

No stress

The doors with gaps create cracks between private and public

A glimpse

A peek

Some feet

Like a confessional we step in and release

Some purge

Squeeze in

Share stories

The perfect place to relieve a bursting soul
