My research interests include medical professions, healthcare organizations, patient-provider interactions, race and ethnicity, and qualitative methods. I am currently working on two projects: one focuses on maternal health care experiences in the US and the other explores racialized health care experiences of racial and ethnic minorities in the US. My research has been published in numerous outlets including the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, Sociology of Health and Illness, and Qualitative Health Research.
