How to Join

How to join the ESIL certificate:

Are you already a CU Denver student? Follow the steps below:

Step 1. Complete the ESIL enrollment form here.

Step 2. An ESIL advisor will contact you to set up a meeting to learn more about your interest in ESIL. Questions about ESIL courses, workshops, and internships can be discussed, as well as the ESIL scholarship program.

Step 3. An ESIL advisor will work with you to determine if ESIL fits your interests; to determine your ESIL academic plan; and to welcome you to the ESIL program.

Step 4. Once enrolled, as an ESIL student, you may be eligible to apply for the ESIL scholarship. There is no deadline to apply for an ESIL scholarship, but the sooner you apply, the more funds might be available. Please connect with an ESIL advisor for more information.

Step 5. As a CU Denver student, upon enrollment in the ESIL certificate, you will begin receiving ESIL communications about upcoming activities, student events, mentoring, and more. Welcome to ESIL!

 

If you are not currently a CU Denver student, you may still be able to join the ESIL certificate program. Follow the steps below:

Step 1. Complete the ESIL enrollment form here.

Step 2. An ESIL advisor will contact you to set up a meeting to learn more about your interest in ESIL. Questions about ESIL courses, workshops, and internships can be discussed, as well as the ESIL scholarship program.

Step 3. An ESIL advisor will work with you to apply to the University of Colorado Denver. Please note that application to the University is required for all students to be able to enroll in classes. When you apply,

· you may declare an undergraduate or graduate major if you want to complete a degree at CU Denver

· or if you are getting a degree from another college or institution or already have an undergraduate degree, you may apply as a non-degree seeking student for the purpose of completing the ESIL certificate. Upon admission to the University, an ESIL advisor will work with you on course selection, registration, and a timeline for completion of the certificate.
