I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Colorado Denver. I am also a Research Affiliate at IZA - Institute for the Study of Labor. My research interests are in Public, Labor, and Health economics. Specifically, I study U.S. government policies--including safety net and social insurance programs, as well as immigration policy--and examine how they affect immigrants' and natives' outcomes.
