*Information about Category Award Finalists Round*
A new aspect of the 2024 fair is the announcement of Category Award Finalists at 3:00 pm on the day of the fair. This information will be shared with students 1) at the end of the 'Speak with a Scientist Panels'; 2) on the DMRSEF website; and 3) via email. Only those students will be included in the final round of judging from 3:00 pm - 4:15 pm. All other students will participate in our STEAM Outreach and Activities Fair – a perennial student favorite!

*An Important Note About Science Fair Awards*
Less than half of the awards at the Denver Science Fair are Category Awards. If you/your student is not included in the final round of judging, it does not mean that you haven’t won something! Each year, we award over 100 Special Awards to recognize student skills and achievements in specific areas. Winners of these awards will be announced at the 2024 Awards Ceremony on Sunday night!
