Deb Thomas, Professor and Chair and of Geography and Environmental Sciences, spoke at an International Women's Day 2017 Global Women's Seminar: Innovations in Global Health panel (sponsored by Joanne Posner-Mayer, on behalf of  The Posner Center for International Development and Amanda Coslor) on March 8, at the Denver Art Museum on her Mobile Health and health mapping efforts in rural communities in Africa. Mobile health is an emerging sector that Deb has piloted, and it incorporates the use of cell phones and mobile tablets into documenting the capacity of the system.
