
Sean Mueller is a communications student at the University of Colorado Denver and serves on the University’s College-in-Prison Program Advisory Board. While incarcerated, Mueller earned a Certificate in Strategic Communication from the University and an Associate of Arts degree from Adams State University. He co-authored Educating Incarcerated Individuals: An Easy Choice in Westword and published multiple times in Captured Words/Free Thoughts. Mueller won the 2023 Robley Rhine Leadership Award, was awarded Summa Cum Laude, and is in Lambda Pi Eta (National Communication Association’s Honor Society). Mueller is committed to multiplying the number of people benefiting from higher education in prisons.
