Justin Aragon BA

Justin is a graduate student in the Department of Communication at the University of Colorado Denver and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. His academic interests center on organizational communication, intercultural communication, identity, and environmental justice, with a particular focus on how language, power, and culture shape participation and leadership within organizations and institutions.

In addition to his academic work, Justin brings over a decade of professional experience in nonprofit leadership, public-sector coordination, and community-based advocacy. He currently serves as Colorado State Program Coordinator/Communications Manager for the national nonprofit GreenLatinos, where he supports statewide environmental justice initiatives and intercultural community engagement. Justin’s teaching and research are informed by his professional practice and a commitment to equity-centered, community-engaged communication.
