Natalie McAnulla is serving as lecturer of composition at the University of Colorado Denver’s Prison Education Program. She is a member of C-CHEP, Colorado’s Coalition of Higher Education in Prison. While on probation she completed her undergraduate degree at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Natalie brings her lived experience with the criminal justice system to her students inside prison classrooms. She is currently a graduate student of Professional Creative Writing at Denver University. She is a published poet with her work appearing in The Chiron Review, the Metrosphere and Colorado’s Best Emerging Poets Anthology. Natalie is committed to sharing the beauty of the writing craft with those in prison.
