Dr. Kathryn Reusch (Oxford University 2014) is an Instructor at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research focuses on the effects of castration on the growth and development of the male skeleton, the impact of castrated individuals on world history, and how we can trace the presence of castration archaeologically. She is currently researching the link between religious concepts and castration and ways to detect castrates using biochemical methods. Kathryn teaches Introduction to Biological Anthropology, Osteology, and various paleopathology-related courses. In her free time, Kathryn likes to read, crochet, and travel.
