Angela grew up in Orange County, CA and then stayed in California to get her B.A. in Art from Westmont College with a focus on painting and printmaking. Not too long after graduating, Angela discovered her love for education administration through her first job as a Student Life Assistant and decided to move to Austin, TX to get her M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Texas.
UT introduced Angela to college Residence Life, which she continued at Colorado College. While working in Residence Life, Angela especially enjoyed building relationships with her student staff, challenging and developing them as student (and future) leaders. Angela joined the CLAS Academic Advising team in 2024 and hopes to continue supporting students in all aspects of their lives.
Outside of the office, Angela enjoys a large variety of shows (favorite show being Avatar: The Last Airbender) and books, playing with her two sassy felines, cooking, and a good game night with friends and family.
