Initial Advising for New Transfer Students

Welcome to CU Denver! As an incoming transfer student into the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), your initial academic advising requirement is to complete a Transfer Academic Success program as part of a New Student Orientation session. During this session, a CLAS Academic Advisor will review your official transfer credit evaluation and degree audit, provide an overview of advising and degree requirements and will be able to assist with your initial course registration process. Your college advising hold will be removed during Transfer Academic Success Day, and you will be assigned to a designated CLAS Academic Advisor the next business day after the session you attended.
