Initial Advising for New Transfer Students
Welcome to CU Denver! As an incoming transfer student into the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), your initial academic advising requirement is to complete a Transfer Advising Group Session (TAGS). At this session, a CLAS Academic Advisor will review your official transfer credit evaluation and degree audit, provide an overview of advising and degree requirements and will be able to assist with your initial course registration process. Your college advising hold will be removed at the TAGS, and you will be assigned to a designated CLAS Academic Advisor the next business day after the session you attended. TAGS offered on campus will be done so in conjunction with the initial transfer new student orientation. Please contact the New Student Orientation Office at (303) 315-3503 for assistance getting signed up for a TAGS / Transfer Student Orientation session.
Sessions for students starting in the summer or fall 2020 semeser will begin in late March, prior to course registration beginning.
We look forward to working with you soon!
