Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lydia completed her bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University with a major in Applied Music. After living, working, and volunteering in Mumbai, India, New York City, and Seoul, South Korea, she returned to her home state of Colorado to pursue a graduate degree in higher education administration. Shortly thereafter, she began work as an academic advisor at the University of Denver and discovered her passion for supporting and empowering students along their academic journeys.
Lydia received her Master of Arts in Higher Education from the University of Denver in June of 2017 and joined the CLAS Advising Office in May of 2018. As an academic advisor with the engagement team, she truly loves learning about the unique interests and passions of each individual CLAS student and supporting them as they work to realize their goals and dreams.
Outside of advising, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants in Denver, and traveling and photographing Colorado and beyond.
