If so, then CLAS Staff Council's PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT funding support is for you!
CLAS Staff Council is happy to announce that Professional Development funds are available for CLAS Staff for the 2024-2025 academic year.
The CLAS Staff Development Fund was allocated to us by Dean Jansma to aid staff in furthering their skills and career goals. CLAS staff may request up to $300 per-person in funding for conferences, events, trainings, or other activities that will further their professional goals and job skills. All current CLAS staff are eligible to apply. Student employees are not eligible.
Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will be accepted through April 30th, 2025, or until all professional development funds have been awarded.
- Applications will be reviewed by the Professional Development Committee and staff will be notified of the committee’s decision within 3 weeks of the application submission.
- Awards will be granted as applications are received and until all available professional development funds for the academic year have been awarded.
- Award recipients must spend entirety of the amount prior to the fiscal year end deadlines.
- Staff are eligible to receive one professional development award per academic year.
