1. Results of the Interim CLAS Staff Council Officer Election

• CHAIR – Confirmed ✓

• Method of voting

The method of voting was an anonymous ballot link emailed directly to staff council members. Ballots were opened for voting on June 15^th and closed on June 22^nd at 5:00pm. An initial email was sent to all current CLAS Staff Council members on June 15^th and 4:15pm to notify them of the ability to vote, and two follow up reminders were sent on June 17^th, and June 19^th. 

• Nominee Collection Method

CLAS Staff Council Members were able to submit nominations and self-nominations to secretary, Elly Lewis, via email beginning Friday, June 5^th, and ending Friday June 12^th at 5:00pm. Secretary Lewis then confirmed that nominees would be willing to accept the nomination via email and created the digital ballot with confirmed nominations.

1. Acceptance of Nominations

• Secretary Lewis read the results of the election aloud and asked each elected nominee whether or not they would accept the position for which they had been nominated. Each nominee answered in the affirmative and confirmed their willingness to serve to their elected interim position.
