Support the CU Denver Center for Psychedelic Research Today
Your donation strengthens the Center’s work to responsibly advance psychedelic research, education, and public-policy initiatives. By investing in this emerging field, you help accelerate new discoveries and research, advance access to high‑quality training, and expand infrastructure and core operations needed to create transformational change across Colorado and beyond.
Every gift makes a difference—whether you're contributing to a specific initiative or helping fuel the broader vision, your support is deeply valued and essential to our progress. Thank you in advance for your support.
The CU Denver Center for Psychedelic Research (UCDCPR), launched in 2024, is dedicated to providing research and education on psychedelic compounds and putting the University of Colorado Denver at the forefront of this emerging field.
Our mission is to establish a comprehensive, transdisciplinary center to study all aspects of psychedelics, including effectiveness, basic science, neuroscience, and socio-economic and public health implications. We provide training and education to prepare researchers, clinicians, and communities in the responsible and empirically-based use of psychedelic therapies. Our objective is to develop the country’s leading psychedelic research and treatment center over the next five years.
Our work continues to accelerate, with essential personnel and infrastructure rapidly expanding to support our mission and open new opportunities across our three core pillars: Research, Education and Training, and Public Policy. The center is well-positioned for its next phase of growth, and with additional support from the philanthropic community, we will:
- Broaden our education and training programs to meet the evolving needs of the field.
- Shape emerging research and advance studies exploring the therapeutic potential of psychedelics.
- Launch interdisciplinary projects and groundbreaking new initiatives.
- Develop community-driven partnerships that honor Indigenous and cultural traditions.
- Ensure that all aspects of our work move forward responsibly, inclusively, and in service to our communities.
Philanthropic Opportunities
Join us in transforming the future of mental health and psychedelic science. You can help accelerate progress across our core pillars of Research, Education and Training, and Public Policy and shape a more impactful, evidence‑based future for psychedelics. Transformational funding will empower the Center to expand access to training programs, advance ongoing research, and strengthen the staff and infrastructure needed to seize emerging opportunities and drive our mission forward. With your support, we can scale clinical trials and follow‑up studies; add new labs, clinical spaces, and specialized facilities for psychedelic sessions and overnight research stays; establish an endowed chair position; and acquire advanced research equipment.
The following areas of impact highlight key philanthropic opportunities to make a meaningful difference at the Center. With a wide landscape for shaping emerging research, launching interdisciplinary initiatives, and co‑creating future educational, clinical, and advocacy programs, there are many ways to engage. We welcome conversations about specific funding opportunities within these areas, as well as discussions to explore your interests and how we can partner to co-create transformational impact together.
