Christopher Lowry is a Professor in the Department of Integrative Physiology at CU Boulder. He is interested in the therapeutic potential of psychedelics and how these substances interact with the gut-brain axis and influence neuroinflammation as possible treatments for mood and anxiety disorders. His research combines preclinical studies with translational approaches, with the goal of using basic scientific findings to develop new therapeutic strategies.
