Peter Kaplan, Professor and Chair of the Psychology Department, is proud to announce that the Clinical Health Psychology (CHP) PhD Program at CU Denver has officially received accreditation from the American Psychological Association. Kaplan thanks Kevin Masters, Professor and Program Director of CHP, for his skillful leadership of the CHP Program and his excellent work on writing the self-study, conducting the site visit, and preparing the final response to the site visitors' report.

Masters joined CU Denver’s faculty to lead the program through accreditation and beyond, and he has done a fantastic job. In addition, many other people have contributed to the success of the program, including the faculty, staff, and supportive administration. Says Kaplan, "This is indeed wonderful news, and in fact marks an historical moment in the history of the Department of Psychology at CU Denver. We have an outstanding program with outstanding faculty and students. The sky is the limit on what can be achieved."
