Geography Faculty and 5 Fridges Farm Working to Help Save Bees

GES faculty working with honeybeesGeography and Environmental Science Senior Instructor Amanda Weaver, Assistant Professor Kristy Briles, and Assistant Professor Anika Mosier are all doctors turned beekeepers: "Each has a different area of focus. Weaver is the experienced beekeeper and agricultural geographer."

"Briles is a palynologist -- a scientist who studies pollen. Mosier is a microbiologist. They are combining their talents to study a part of our ecosystem that’s in trouble—bees."
