Geography and Environmental Science Senior Instructor Amanda Weaver, Assistant Professor Kristy Briles, and Assistant Professor Anika Mosier are all doctors turned beekeepers: "Each has a different area of focus. Weaver is the experienced beekeeper and agricultural geographer."

"Briles is a palynologist -- a scientist who studies pollen. Mosier is a microbiologist. They are combining their talents to study a part of our ecosystem that’s in trouble—bees."
