Philosophy has much to offer many areas of study. For that reason, our faculty contribute expertise and teach courses in a variety of interdisciplinary programs.
Women’s and Gender Studies (WGST) is an interdisciplinary program offered either as an undergraduate minor or a graduate certificate through the Master of Humanities and Master of Social Sciences.
The Master of Humanities and the Master of Social Science degrees combine fields such as history, philosophy, cultural studies, film, women's studies, public policy, American studies, fine arts, sociology, literature, anthropology, communications, political science and economics.
Social Justice's interdisciplinary theme empowers students to acquire the intellectual tools and moral commitment to participate effectively and responsibly in the world.
