Adjunctification is a peer-reviewed journal by and for contingent faculty in higher education. We publish scholarship produced by non-tenure track faculty, including instructors, lecturers, adjuncts, research associates, graduate teaching assistants, etc. The inaugural issue was published in August 2024 and the call is now open for submissions to the second issue. We are particularly interested in work that interrogates the vulnerability and precarity of contingent workers. There are seven categories for submissions including case studies, hypothesis-driven research, book reviews, and essays.
Papers are due January 31, 2025, for the second issue to be published in September 2025. More information can be found at the journal website (https://adjunctification.cu.studio/).
