Hello! I am a sophmore, majoring in chemistry with a minor in astrophysics. Hopefully with this degree I can work with fancy telescopes and spectrometers. I love to dance particuarly to kpop, but anything really. I also find joy in reading fantasy, drawing, watching anime, and listening to music. I'm currently trying to finish Gintama, but if you recommend anything please let me know! If you ever need any help please don't hesitiate to ask, I'm here for you no matter the question! I'm excited to spend the semester with you all!

I’m a senior majoring in English Lit and Film and double-minoring in Psychology and Sociology. I want to work in the publishing industry when I graduate. My hobbies include creative writing (you probably could have guessed that), reading (also guessable), longboarding (not as obvious), and watching improv comedy (see, not entirely predictable). I love trying to calculate the chances for life to survive on places beyond Earth, despite the fact that they’re consistently low. I’m excited to be returning as an LA!
Levi Roberts
Hi Friends! I am a 3rd year creative writing major and minoring in Film + TV writing. And this is my first semester as an LA! My hobbies include writing, reading, crafting and fashion. I have always been a lover of Astronomy and I am excited to support your learning this semester!
Nichole Gutierrez
I am in my second semester as an LA in this course, who is also a senior graduating in December this year with my degree in Human Development and Family Relations. As a parent and a future social worker, I bring patience, empathy, and a steady, supportive presence to the classroom. One weird fact about me is that I am the oldest of 16, yet I am the shortest of all of my brothers and sisters. Fun Fact: I love math, which inspired me to develop the two math modules that can be used to make numbers more approachable and less intimidating.

Hi, I'm San. I am a fourth-year Biology major (Pre-Pharmacy) at CU Denver. I enjoy working with others and helping break down difficult concepts in a way that feels less overwhelming. I believe learning is a process, and it’s okay to make mistakes along the way. I hope to create a welcoming and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing more confident in their learning.

Hello all! I am a senior majoring in Biochemistry. I was a bit intimidated going into Physics 2 but I ended up really enjoying it, so this will be my second semester teaching it. I also love playing pickleball, listening to music, and raving. Super excited to work with you guys!
Eunese Downs
I am a biology major who has a deep passion for almost all things Science. I am very approachable and always looking forward to helping others, especially in ways I have needed help myself before. Physics can be challenging, but I can say from experience that with a helping hand, you can learn so many awesome things about light, sound waves, and even peacock feathers!

Hello! I am a second year Mechanical Engineering student with an Associate of Science. I find great enjoyment in physics, chemistry, psychology, microscopy, puns, and calculus. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Atharv Jamdagny
I am a senior at the University of Colorado Denver majoring in Biology and Business Finance on the pre-med track. I enjoy helping students build confidence in challenging subjects by breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps.
Outside of academics, I work in healthcare as a CNA, volunteer with Special Olympics, and enjoy staying active through sports and fitness. I believe learning is most effective when students feel comfortable asking questions, so I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where everyone can succeed.
I’m excited to work with students this semester and help make learning a positive experience!

Hello! I'm a junior with a physics major, and this is my third time being a physics LA. In school I love many areas of science, philosophy, and other fields, but I'm especially interested in physics, with the current goal of going into some form of physics research. Outside of school I love listening to and making music, working on and driving cars, playing videogames, and being in out in nature. I hope this semester goes well for everyone, and that I can help you all achieve your goals in and out of school!

I'm a senior physics student and am starting on my fifth year at CU Denver. I started off in Mechanical Engineering but decided that physics seemed more interesting to me (no hate to MechE). Lucky enough to be from Colorado but don't go camping as much as I should. The toughest lesson I've almost learned is that a lot of course content can be difficult to digest, so please don't hesitate to ask others for assistance. It will save a lot of time and stress.

Hello everyone! I am currently a junior majoring in human biology on a pre-PA track. In my free time I like to go to the gym, read, and bake. I am also a patient care tech on a cardiovascular care unit. Physics was very intimidating for me but I believe that we learn by making mistakes and trying again, so please don't be afraid to reach out with questions!

Hi! I'm a senior studying biochemistry, currently on the 4+1 combined BS/MS track. I absolutely fell in love with physics while taking College Physics II, and just knew I had to get involved with the labs. This lab can be very intimidating, but just know that we are all here to make you love the subject in the way that we do!! Outside of school, my biggest passion is music. I'm not much of a musician myself, but I am always down to debate who the most influential artist of all time is (spoiler alert: it's MF DOOM).
