CU Denver Future Doctors

CU Denver Future Doctors is a forum and support network for undergraduate students attending Auraria Campus and pursuing admission to professional or graduate school in any health-related field (including, but not limited to, medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, physician assistant, chiropractic, and physical and occupational therapy). We strive to provide opportunities, education, and networking for students as they prepare for the application and interviewing processes in their respective disciplines. We pledge to foster an environment that encourages relationships between fellow pre-health professionals, promotes medically related volunteer work and community involvement, and aims to develop health care leadership. There are new constitution requirements for both chapters of the club this year. Members must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA, dues are $15 annually, and each person is required to attend six club events per year (summer, fall, and spring). Events can be club meetings, guest speakers and other workshops, and community service events (which count for two events). Event information will be sent out via Orgsync, Facebook, email, and the website (which should be up within the month). Details about how and when to pay your dues and submit your unofficial transcripts will be sent out shortly.

CPR Certification Class

CU Denver Future Doctors will be hosting their second round of discounted CPR certification classes on April 27, 2018 in Student Commons 1500 from 9a-12p. There are 9 available slots. Click HERE to claim your spot!

CUDFD is proud to be implementing a CPR certification program at discounted rates on the Auraria Campus.
Being CPR certified is required for many occupations (especially in Health Care) and could be the thing the sets you apart from other applicants!
CPR certification classes typically cost around $80. Future Doctors is offering this class at the following rates:

Future Doctors Members: $30

UC Denver Students, Faculty, Staff (with student/faculty ID): $45

Unaffiliated Participants: $60

Please pay in exact cash amount or write a check to "CU Student Life" with "CU Denver Future Doctors" in the memo line. Please pay before the day of the class to CU Denver Student Life in Tivoli 303.

If you cannot make this round of classes, don't worry! Future Doctors will be holding monthly classes during the school year! "
