Our CU-wide GIS day returns for 2022! This hybrid symposium will take place on November 4, 2022, featuring a keynote by Dr. Rafael Moreno, open source showcase by Kurt Menke, career panel, ESRI tech demos, and more!

Join the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and the Department of Geography as we explore ways to navigate the contours of trauma in community-based projects. We’ll discuss techniques for integrating trauma awareness into our placed-based data collection and visualization processes. Specifically, we’ll ruminate on modalities for instilling consent, choice, and collaboration throughout our work. Together, we’ll learn how to be better positioned to resist and repair harm when working alongside and within communities.
