The Geospatial Analysis and Mapping Laboratory (GAMLab) in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences (GES) is CU Denver’s premier geospatial research lab, providing faculty and students with first rate geospatial hardware and software support to conduct their research activities. The GAMLab also facilitates collaborations between GES and other members of academic, government, private, and community sectors. With fourteen high-powered Dell Precision workstations equipped with software for a wide range of research needs, including spatial analysis, remote sensing, cartography, and visualization, the GAMLab provides resources to visualize, explore, analyze, and propose solutions to human-environmental challenges using Geographic Information Science and Technology (GISc&T). Currently, GAMLab computers may be accessed in the lab or via remote desktop.
