Mary Seeber graduated from CU Boulder, double majoring in English and Humanities. As an undergraduate student, she traveled around the world by ship on a life-changing program called Semester at Sea, and after backpacking around the world for six months, finally landed in Kyushu, Japan, to teach EFL for two years at Kyushu Teiko Junior College. She later obtained a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in TESOL from the School for International Studies in Vermont, and has taught academic English and ESL for the past 30 years in university, family literacy and language school settings. For twelve years, she designed and taught a conditional-admission program for ESL students at the CU Denver Skaggs School of Pharmacy. Ms. Seeber deeply enjoys building connections with students, making English comprehensible, and inspiring language learning.
