I was born and raised in Colorado. My B.A. in English is from the University of Colorado Denver. I started my career in international higher education at the ESL Academy as a student worker.  In addition, I hold a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Toronto. I am extremely passionate about the intersection of English language and international education, and I love working with language learners as they pursue higher education. In my spare time, I love to dance, hike and rock climb with my partner and our cats, draw, or snuggle up with hot tea and a book.
