The CoorsTek DMRSEF is a middle and high school STEM competition that empowers students to become researchers.
Our annual event provides a platform for students to engage the STEM community and to present their original research in an atmosphere of competition, creativity, education, and fun. DMRSEF is an affiliate of the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and adheres to the rules and safety standards set out by this international organization.
We are seeking STEM professionals, trainees, and educators to join our Scientific Review Committee!
SRC members review student project plans to make sure they are practicing safe science and work with students to assure they qualify to compete at the fair.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals enthusiastic about STEM education; students and postdocs looking to bolster their resumes, anyone looking to learn about safety and compliance; and/or community members interested in supporting a volunteer-driven organization.
SRC reviews will take place online from January and February of 2024. Training will be provided in early January. Each SRC reviewer will be asked to review ~20 projects in partnership with another SRC member (estimated 15-hour commitment).
