Currently serving as the president of the Student Advisory Council, Cedar has been involved with DMRSEF for the past six years. His goal is to expand access to the science fair, offer resources to students who may not otherwise come across them, and continue to develop the organization as a year round community. Cedar plans to major in the biological sciences while pursuing the pre-medicine track with an emphasis on the social determinants for health and diversity and equity in healthcare.
