Kalena Peirce is a Colorado native, and started her college advising career in Southern California over 15 years ago. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in family studies from the University of Arizona, and her Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Karen has worked at several colleges in California and Colorado, and has a background in outreach as well as advising. Kalena is also a certified life coach, and is passionate about helping students to navigate through life challenges as they accomplish their goals. She joined the CLAS advising team in August of 2018.
