We provide individual therapy to adults, children, and adolescents experiencing a wide range of psychological problems. These problems include depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use, and those related to family, cultural, existential, sexual, and other identity issues. We use evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal and humanistic therapies, motivational interviewing, mindfulness based therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
We provide specialized services to those with medical conditions that lead to stress and impair functioning. Examples of medical conditions we can help people manage include diabetes, chronic pain, headaches, arthritis, epilepsy, as well as cardiac, pulmonary, and gastrointestinal disorders. In addition to other methods, we offer biofeedback to help patients reduce stress by learning to regulate bodily processes such as muscle tension, respiration, and heart rate.
