The Physics Machine Shop is located in North Classroom 3610A, in the back of our Physics Student Projects Lab. Our machining equipment includes a 3-axis CNC Mill (Southwestern Industries TRAK DPM2), a CNC Lathe (Southwestern Industries TRAK 1630SX), a 3-axis manual knee-mill with digital read out (Sharp HMV), along with various saws, grinders, and tooling to support this equipment. We also have MIG and TIG welding capabilities.
