The Mosier Lab is directed by Dr. Annika Mosier in the department of Integrative Biology at the University of Colorado Denver. Our lab conducts research in microbial ecology and biogeochemistry--understanding microbial community structure and function in the environment. Our research focuses on three primary areas: (1) microbial nitrogen cycling, (2) microbial responses to environmental change, and (3) microbiology education research. This research is accomplished through independent and collaborative projects that involve undergraduate and graduate student researchers.
