Simone Spinner

Simone, a renowned sommelier, completed her MH degree in 2014 with a study of the aesthetics and culture of wine. Her first book, Denver Food: A Culinary Evolution came out in Fall 2018. She recently returned from a year in Lisbon, Portugal, where she pursued grad studies in climate and Europe’s changing wine-scape. She writes for numerous local culinary publications, teaches seminars on the economy and culture of wine from grapes to glass. Check out her web site: http://winerocksllc.com/press/

Lindsay Miller

After graduating with her MSS in Social Justice in Spring 2018, Lindsay began an internship at eh National Civic League and was recently promoted to Senior Fellow.  Lindsay has published multiple articles and book chapters on the intersection of culture, politics, and social change. Her writing has been featured in academic sources, such as the White Privilege Conference’s journal Understanding and Dismantling Privilege, as well as in popular sources like Thought Catalog.  She has co-authored book chapters on figures such as John Dewey and Jane Addams and written articles for the National Civic Review on issues related to urban growth, equitable development, and racial equity.
