Hello, my name is Vincent Conrad. I am a BS in Biology aiming to obtain a BS in Biochemistry, with hopes of eventually getting into a PhD program. My curiosity and love for the natural sciences emerged as a consequence of lab work and a deeper dive into subjects within the basic sciences, leading me to pursue a stimulating, collaborative career in scientific research. I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, surfing or snowboarding, and having conversations with friends. In the Resendiz Lab, I focus on the synthesis and polymerization of modified RNA nucleosides for the purpose of investigating their chemical, biochemical and physical properties.
